Didn’t take long for Tim Tszyu to make a statement.
Undefeated power puncher Tim Tszyu (23-0, 17 KO’s) is continuing to roll through the 154 lb. division with steam, as he previously defeated former world champion Tony Harrison (29-4-1, 21 KO’s) with a ninth-round TKO to win the Interim WBO Super Welterweight title.
He has now demolished contender Carlos Ocampo (34-2, 22 KO’s) to continue his streak and stay sharp in preparation for the main man at junior middleweight, the undisputed champion Jermell Charlo (35-1-1, 19 KO’s).

“I got a question for everyone here,” Tszyu told Ben Damon in the ring during his post-fight interview. “What’s my motherf****** name?”
A jubilated Tsyzu, was extremely confident during his post-fight interview.
“I think Errol [Spence] did it in what, 2½ minutes, just near the three-minute mark,” Tszyu said. “I think I got him out of there a bit earlier, so I beat you, Errol. I beat you to it.”
The Aussie, of course referencing the current unified WBC, WBA and IBF welterweight champion Errol Spence Jr., who previously defeated Ocampo in one round back in 2018. Spence, also happens to be a stablemate of the guy Tszyu is chasing down, Jermell Charlo.
“I did it quicker than your boy, man,” Tszyu said to Charlo in reference to Spence, who, like Charlo, is trained by Derrick James.
“So, come on, get your hand healing. Let’s dance. Let’s dance in October. No disrespect – let’s just dance. Me and you, best dancing partners we’ll be.”
Let the countdown begin.
