The Nun II Preview

Another addition into The Conjuring universe, as The Nun II is set to release later this year to the anticipation of many who are fans of the supernatural and horror genres of film.

Directed by Michael Chaves, with a screenplay written by Ian Goldberg, Richard Naing, and Akela Cooper from a story by Cooper, this sequel takes place four years after the ending of the first film.

This film follows Sister Irene, as she once again comes face to face with the demonic force Valak, the Nun, at a boarding school in France.

At the end of the first Nun film, it was revealed that Maurice, also known as “Frenchie,” had become possessed by the demon Valak.

Maurice’s exorcism was the one shown in the video at Ed and Lorraine Warren’s later seminars twenty years later. And this demon Valak, as mentioned in the preview, is a fallen angel, stripped of its power and wanting it back, by any means…

The Nun II exclusively releases to theaters September 8, 2023.
