Born Kirshnik Khari Ball, better known as Takeoff from the hip-hop, family connected group Migos, is dead at the age of 28, according to TMZ and other news outlets.
The hip-hop star was reportedly shot and killed at 810 Billiards & Bowling in Houston, Texas. Cops were called shortly after 2:30 in the morning on Nov. 1, TMZ reported.
Renowned for his work with the group Migos, Takeoff and his kinfolk scored multiple top ten hits on the Billboard Hot 100, along with two Grammy nominations.
In a joint effort with his uncle Quavo, the pair released a collaborative album titled Only Built For Infinity Links on October 7, 2022, 25 days before Takeoff’s untimely demise in Houston.
