Arguably golf’s longstanding hero, Tiger Woods, announced his highly anticipated return to the sport.
Winner of fifteen Majors Woods, will make his return to competition, participating in the Hero World Challenge in December.
Woods competed in three events in 2022 (All majors) and last missed the cut at the 2022 Open Championship at St. Andrews.
The Hero World Challenge, founded by Woods and his father, will take place in Albany, Bahamas, from Dec. 1 – 4.
Woods, who is 46-years-old, will also participate in Capital One’s “The Match,” alongside with Rory Mcllroy, Jordan Spieth and Justin Thomas in effort to raise money for victims of Hurricane Ian.
The previous six versions of The Match, have raised nearly $33 million for charity and donated more than 27 million meals through Feeding America.
